The spammers that hit me most, were spamming keywords for their own sites. Particularly about Online Poker. This way, by getting their site mentioned in combination with specific keywords, they will rank higher in search engines like Google.

Smart.

Now, consider what would happen if all blog sites around the world start pointing those same keywords (Online Poker, remember?) at another page (in this case the Wikipedia description on Online Poker)… That page would rise in the Google page ranking system, effectively nullifying their spam efforts.

Welcome to another Google bomb!

Right now, the Wikipedia page is ranking third. Let’s see if we can make it go to that number #1 position…
