Typo
I’m a laptop user. I admit it. Have been for years. Can’t live without ‘m.
So I’ve seen quite a few. The one I bought last, my Acer TravelMate 800 has just one serious flaw I could find. It’s keyboard looks like crap after 3 months of typing.
So, after about 6 months last year, when most keys were just black and I had to prove my blind typing skills day after day, I bought a new keyboard. Which I installed in January of this year. And, as expected, which looked like crap again by now.

This time, before buying a new one, I decided to write an e-mail to Acer and tell them in polite terms I did not like their keyboards much. I didn’t really expect anything more than “sorry, not covered by warrantee”, but much to my surprise, after some e-mails going back and forth about serial numbers, today my new keyboard arrived. At no charge and with a small card in which the support department apologizes for the time it took to actually send me the keyboard.
I’m impressed.
