Having seen most of the trailers, “The making of” and some interviews with it’s cast, I’m no longer interested in seeing “Van Helsing“. Effects that have been used before, camera tricks we’ve seen a million times, spectacular explosions and computer generated monsters…

I think it’s time Hollywood tries something new.

How about something as radical as a storyline?

Well, it’s official. She’s damn cute. Spend an afternoon looking at her winning the hearts of an entire room of strangers. Took her about 2 secs each. She rocks.

Then again, she should, she’s my niece, right?

Today’s the day my sis comes home with her adopted daughter. Talk about excitement! Kind of makes you forget all the rest of the world. Having only seen her pic so far, I’m real curious as to how she looks in real life.

Just a sneak peak:

Well, when I’m ready, I’m ready. So no sense in prolonging this. Just booked my tickets to Entebbe. This Internet is so great. I can spend my money without purchasing actual goods. I just spend a small fortune to become the proud owner of some e-tickets. Which I won’t see untill I get to the airport and which will then turn out to be just some simple pieces of paper, printed out in mere seconds.

But hey… 29 days left… who’s complaining?

Who would have figured I would be dashing off to the other side of the world, to meet someone I already met. Weird stuff. But it’s going to happen nonetheless. In a couple of week’s time, I’ll be hopping on a plane that will be taking me to meet a very wonderful woman.

Finding people thru the Internet isn’t new to me. Met my best friend that way, she just happened to live little over half a mile away from me. So meeting my lover the same way… why not?

It would have been a bit more convenient if she didn’t live 4000 miles away though. Just went to the local travel clinic to prepare. Shots against yellow fever and all sorts of other nasties are hurling through my blood stream. Now all I need to do is top things off with some nice malaria tablets.

Can’t wait…

In early january 2003, I started my Dutch [url=http://logisch.worldfora.com]log[/url]. Just to jot down things I noted in the news, ramblings in my mind… ah well, you know the drill. Being active in some international fora however, it was kind of hard to keep explaining what the hell I was talking about to those non-dutchies out there. Somehow we still seem to be outnumbered by the rest of the world.

So here y’all are. The new and improved WebberLog.com. And in English too.

Life can be soooo cool.
